Description
The MEAN WELL LRS-100-12 is a single-output enclosed AC/DC switching power supply designed to provide regulated 12V DC power at up to 8.5A. It is part of the MEAN WELL LRS-100 series, a compact low-profile range intended for industrial and electronic equipment applications. The manufacturer specifies 102W rated output power for the 12V model.
Product Overview
The LRS-100-12 converts AC mains power into a regulated 12V DC output for compatible electrical, electronic and industrial equipment. Its enclosed metal construction and 30mm low-profile design make it suitable for installations where dependable DC power is required within a relatively compact space. The LRS series uses free-air cooling rather than a built-in fan.
Technical Performance
The LRS-100-12 supports an 85–264VAC input range and 47–63Hz input frequency. The manufacturer specifies 12V DC output, 8.5A rated current, and 102W rated output power. The output adjustment range is 10.2–13.8V. Typical efficiency is specified at approximately 88%.
The unit has a compact 129 × 97 × 30mm form factor and uses free-air convection cooling. MEAN WELL specifies protection against overload and over-voltage conditions, while the LRS family is designed for operation in demanding industrial environments.
