Product Overview
The UNI-T UT372D 2-in-1 Tachometer is a versatile digital rotational-speed tester designed for measuring the operating speed and movement of rotating machinery. Its dual measurement design allows technicians to perform both non-contact optical measurements and contact measurements using the supplied accessories. Uni-Trend Meters
The non-contact mode is useful when the rotating shaft or component cannot be physically touched, while contact measurement can be used for applications requiring direct measurement of rotational speed, surface velocity or length.
How It Works
For non-contact measurements, the optical sensor detects reflective tape or a suitable rotating target from approximately 50–500 mm away. The instrument can measure rotational speed, frequency and revolution count.
For contact measurements, the supplied contact accessories and wheels are placed against the rotating surface. The UT372D can then measure RPM, surface velocity and length according to the selected measurement mode. Uni-Trend Meters
