Description
The Pepperl+Fuchs KCD2-SOT-Ex1.LB Switch Amplifier is an industrial signal interface module designed to connect NAMUR sensors or dry-contact devices with a control system. It forms part of the Pepperl+Fuchs K-System range of isolated barriers and supports signal transfer where electrical isolation and fault monitoring are important.
The module accepts a single field input and provides two transistor outputs. The second output can be configured to transmit the signal or a fault message. Built-in line-fault detection identifies input-circuit breaks and short circuits, helping maintenance teams diagnose sensor wiring issues. Configuration is handled through DIP switches on the module.
