Furse CR705 U-Bolt Rod Clamp Type GUV 70–150mm²

Description

The Furse CR705 U-Bolt Rod Clamp Type GUV is a mechanical earthing clamp used to establish a secure connection between an earth conductor and an earth rod or rebar. It is part of the Furse range of earthing and lightning protection accessories and is specifically designed for conductor-to-rod connections.
According to Furse/ABB technical documentation, the CR705 supports nominal rod or rebar diameters from 12 to 20 mm and conductor sizes from 70 to 150 mm². The current Furse/ABB catalogue identifies the U-bolt material as stainless steel, with a listed weight of approximately 0.23 kg per clamp. ABB Group
The clamp is intended for applications where a strong, low-resistance mechanical and electrical connection is required within an earthing system. Its GUV configuration allows the conductor and earth rod/rebar to be secured together using the clamp assembly.
