Description
The ifm SF6200 is an industrial flow sensor designed for monitoring liquids and gases in pipes. Unlike a complete standalone flow meter, this model is intended to work with a compatible external evaluation unit, which processes the sensor signal for flow monitoring and control.
The sensor uses a stainless-steel insertion probe that extends into the flowing medium. Its clamp-adapter arrangement allows the immersion depth to be adjusted to suit the installation. The M12 electrical connection provides a connection point to compatible evaluation equipment.
Key Product Features
– Flow monitoring: Designed to monitor flow conditions in liquids and gases.
– Insertion probe: Stainless-steel construction for installation inside compatible pipework.
– Adjustable immersion depth: Supports positioning the probe within the flow.
– External evaluation unit: Requires compatible evaluation electronics rather than operating as a standalone flow meter.
– M12 connector: Provides a detachable electrical connection.
– Industrial construction: Designed for demanding process-monitoring environments.
– Wide flow-velocity setting ranges: Separate ranges are available for liquids and gases.
