Description
The UNI-T UT336A is a portable electronic refrigerant leak detector developed for HVAC/R technicians and service professionals. It is designed to help locate refrigerant leaks in air-conditioning, refrigeration and related cooling equipment.
The UT336A uses a negative corona sensor and provides adjustable sensitivity so technicians can adapt the instrument to different refrigerant concentrations. UNI-T specifies a maximum sensitivity of 3 g/a and a rapid 3-second warm-up time.
How It Works
The flexible probe is moved along refrigeration-system components where a refrigerant leak may occur. When the sensor detects the target refrigerant concentration, the instrument provides an alarm indication. Six sensitivity levels allow the technician to adjust detection according to the working environment and expected leak concentration.
