The JKS-40 is a single-element, fast-acting Class J fuse engineered for rapid interruption of short-circuit faults while minimising damage to electrical equipment. It belongs to the Eaton Bussmann Limitron® JKS series and is widely used in switchboards, panelboards, transformers, and industrial control systems where high interrupting capacity and compact design are required.

Its rejection-type construction ensures it can only be installed in compatible Class J fuse holders, improving safety and preventing incorrect fuse substitution.
