The BBS-2 is a fast-acting midget fuse (Class CC / supplemental fuse type) from the Eaton Bussmann series. It is designed for high-speed protection of control circuits, lighting circuits, electronic equipment, and instrumentation where immediate interruption of fault current is required without time delay.

It is not a slow-blow fuse — it reacts quickly to overloads and short circuits to protect sensitive components.
